We must remember that if the Taliban resorts to sleep deprivation, stress positions and water boarding in interrogating Pfc. Bowe Bergdahl, the American soldier it holds captive (Star Tribune, July 21), it is just following guidelines set by Vice President Dick Cheney. DON BAILEY, BLOOMINGTON
