Regarding Patrick Reusse's Dec. 3 column on the fallen Tiger: Patrick, you got it all wrong; we guys who are "bulging at the waist," "losing our hair" and "living one paycheck to the next" should be proud if we were fortunate enough to get a "Susan Boyle look-alike."

Millions have seen her performance on YouTube -- at last count, more than 90 million and climbing. They witnessed the scoff that was rendered by the judges and the audience before she sang. After she sang, that all changed and apologies by the judges were quickly issued.

But aside from her wonderful voice, we all saw the honest inner beauty that rarely comes along and is widely seen in performers and celebrities.

Patrick, your remark indicates that you maintained that "scoff." She's no raving beauty? We fat bellies and baldies could only pray for a "Susan Boyle look-alike" who would have her same qualities.
