I knew America was in trouble when Barack Obama said that, if elected president, he would go over the federal budget line by line to eliminate government waste. Unless he is the kind of politician who makes empty campaign promises, he has now gone over the federal budget line by line and was not able to find any waste. Either way, we are in trouble.
