In the Easter season, Christians celebrate new beginnings through the resurrection, with Jesus as the teacher. I cannot help making the connection between this and the teachers in my own life: from my beloved friend enduring an overwhelming and unidentified illness, to stroke survivors focusing on healing by enjoying life's simplicities, to the disabled sharing their spirit and strength through their daily examples.
