In keeping with Wednesday's Letter of the Day -- from the former teacher who suggested that U.S. Rep. Randy Neugebauer, R-Texas, suffer consequences for calling out "baby killer" on the House floor during the recent health care debate -- should we not hold Vice President Joe Biden to the same standards? He is giving the same wrong message to the youths of America by implying that it's OK to use abrasive and offensive language, as demonstrated when he was overheard swearing as he spoke to President Obama before the president signed the health care bill. I also teach school, and I think Biden needs a trip to the Oval Office for detention or a special conference. SUSAN KRANTZ, MINNETONKA
