Letter of the Day: Gas guzzlers at a climate summit? How ironic is that?

This image taken Friday Dec. 4, 2009 shows limousines being filled with bioethanol before the climate summit. The Copenhagen climate conference is leaving a giant carbon footprint. What are world leaders doing to cut their own carbon trail? Who's taking a commercial flight instead of a private jet, and who's taking the train?

A Danish limousine rental company reported a complete run on limousines during the big "climate change" summit.

All of Copenhagen's estimated 1,200 limos were rented out, requiring scores of additional low-fuel-economy limos from Germany and France be driven in from hundreds of miles away to accommodate the high carbon burning, conscientious and concerned green world leaders.

And hybrids? A reported five hybrids were rented for the occasion.

Hypocrisy? You decide.
