VENUS RISES, SO DO OBJECTIONS
It is encouraging that people are talking about a billboard of the 1520 painting of "Venus Rising from the Sea" by Titian ("Vandalized museum billboard stripped of graffiti," Feb. 25).
However, we shouldn't be concerned about 10 calls from people objecting to the unclothed depiction of a woman who is 491 years old. You can expect a lot more than 10 people to object to almost anything, including the smell of lutefisk served in church basements.
