For decades I have yearned for a presidential candidate representative of the best statesmanship America has to offer. Thank God a worthy candidate has finally appeared.

Initially I had doubts, but now I can't conceive of anyone better qualified to exercise the maturity of judgment and international wisdom than Donald Trump.

If he were our commander in chief, with his finger on the button, I could sleep well.

I don't know Mr. Trump, but I can just sense that he has a lot of the right answers to fix our economy and to address the concerns of the middle class and the underprivileged.

And when the time arrives, I am confident that Don will make full disclosure of his finances and of his high school yearbook.

Equally important with Donny's appearance on the scene is the media's willingness to publicize his important messages.

Someone has finally stepped forward to seriously address the critical, legitimate issues of the day, and to stir up that thoughtful segment of society that we depend upon to guide us through these difficult times.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

THOMAS WEXLER, EDINA
