It's the Twin Cities music lovers' equivalent of reading about Twins spring training and fantasizing about warm days outside drinking beer watching the locals perform: Some of the most popular block parties in town have begun announcing their 2017 lineups, starting with Hymie's Records' warm-weather-baiting outdoor bash for Record Store Day, April 22. Bauhaus Brew Labs got the jump on the Art-a-Whirl crowd by revealing a very impressive lineup for its Liquid Zoo party on May 20, and now Memory Lanes has also confirmed the lineup for its Memorial Day weekend parking-lot festival.

One of the reasons these particular block parties are popular is the fun, unique mix of local acts they all offer, proof of which can be seen below in this year's lineups.
