Len Druskin's after Christmas sale at Len stores

Len, the clearance outlets for Len Druskin, will be offering additional discounts Dec. 26

December 24, 2010 at 6:05PM

Len and Len Druskin clearance centers are promising a liquidation so good on Dec. 26 that they're keeping the details under wraps for fear of being overwhelmed. Hype or heckuva sale? They wouldn't tell me.

But let me digress. Am I the only one confused by the difference among the Len Druskin clothing stores in the Galleria and Gaviidae Common, the Len stores in Rosedale, City Center and Southdale, Len Clearance in Southdale, and the Len Druskin Clearance in Bonaventure in Minnetonka?

Thanks to Michael at Len Druskin in the Galleria, I think I have it figured out.

The three Len stores in Rosedale, Southdale and City Center stock special purchase merchandise. For my money, they're the least interesting of the group.

The Len Clearance Store in Southdale is the "outlet" for the three Len stores above.

The Len Druskin Clearance store in Bonaventure is the "outlet" for the full-price stores in the Galleria and Gaviidae Common. It's the best opportunity to find upscale stuff at ridiculously low prices. One employee described it as having the "hottest finds" such as Rag & Bone jeans. Discounts are between 50 and 90 percent.

I hope I'm not touting a so-so sale. Discounts will be in addition to the normal 50 percent discounts.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the 26th. The sale is not at the full-price stores in the Galleria and Gaviidae.

Happy holidays and Merry Christmas. I'll be back next year.
