Eagan High School graduate Laura Osnes (pictured with co-star Jeremy Jordan) has been nominated for a Tony for her lead performance in "Bonnie & Clyde."

Osnes, who starred in the short-lived Frank Wildhorn musical, is up against Audra McDonald (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess"), Kelli O'Hara ("Nice Work If You Can Get It"), Jan Maxwell ("Follies") and Cristin Milioti ("Once").

Tracie Bennett, who played a volatile and volcanic Judy Garland at the Guthrie in a pre-Broadway engagement of "End of the Rainbow," was nominated for the Tony for leading actress in a play. She competes with such heavyweights Stockard Channing ("Other Desert Cities"), Cynthia Nixon ("Wit"), Linda Lavin ("The Lyons") and Nina Arianda ("Venus in Fur").

Two of the best play nominees, Jon Robin Baitz' "Other Desert Cities" and Bruce Norris' "Clybourne Park," are on the Guthrie's upcoming 2012-13 season. "Cities" has five Tony nominations while "Clybourne Park" has four.
