Latest Snowfall Map for Blizzard

While the worst of the nor'easter has already come to an end, additionalsnowfall and blowing snow will continue to cripple travel across eastern NewEngland today.Travel will be nearly impossible at times along portions of I-90 and I-95 andespecially secondary roads. Airport cancellations will also occur.

Another 3-6 inches of snow could accumulate over southeastern New Englandtoday, from southeastern Massachusetts through Rhode Island. One to threeinches will fall over eastern Maine, while people in southern Nova Scotia,including Halifax, could be digging out from 6-10 inches by Monday morning.

As of 4:40 a.m. EST Sunday, Boston had recorded 7 inches of snowfall, andanother 3-6 inches is expected to fall before the snow tapers off today.

Other areas from Long Island through southern New England could end up withupwards of 2 feet of snow, following near-blizzard conditions on Saturdaynight. Snowfall rates on Saturday night reached 2-4 inches an hour attimes!Story By AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Meghan Evans.
