Latest Snowfall Forecasts

None of the bigger cities across the United States (New York, Chicago, Denver,etc.) will be getting heavy snow this weekend. The snowiest weather willcontinue to be in a swath from the Canadian Rockies through Alberta, and theninto the northern Plains of the United States.By far, the heaviest snow this weekend will fall in the mountains of westernBritish Columbia. At elevations above 7,000 feet, it will be snowing at 2inches per hour later Saturday and Saturday night.

The storm moving from the Great Lakes into the Northeast will be pretty trivialby January standards.
