We have two charts for you to look at today. The first shows the snow that willoccur Wednesday night on the tail end of the big rainstorm that is coming upthrough the eastern part of the country. Obviously, this is not a big deal.Of greater importance is the snow that will blanket the South later this week.

The storm will begin in New Mexico Thursday then works its way eastwardThursday night and Friday reaching western North Carolina by early Saturday.

The mountains of New Mexico will get the greatest amount of snow perhaps asmuch as 10 inches. Snowfall will be much less from central Texas eastward, buteven a couple of inches of snow in the Deep South can cause a lot of troubleout on the highways.
