In this neck of the woods, it's hard to tell when the old snow season endsand the new one begins. Certainly, there has been snow in the mountains ofMontana and northern Idaho every month of the year. So a snowfall in April, oreven May, is not that unusual. The heaviest snow Thursday night and Friday will be limited to the higherelevations of western Montana, Idaho and northern Wyoming. Farther east, therewill be a mixture of rain and snow which will greatly limit how muchaccumulation can occur.
