Another winter storm has produced snow in areas of the southern Plains. This time, the Deep South will have to put up with the snow, instead of the mid-Atlantic. Today, a band of 3 to 6 inches of snow will spread quickly through the Southern states, reaching central Georgia this afternoon.

This storm will not be nearly as powerful as the past two have been.

Nevertheless, even a few inches of snow through the South cause great travel problems.
