The vigorous storm will continue to lash the Northeast with heavy snow and highwinds today. Significant blowing and drifting of snow will make traveltreacherous to nearly impossible at times.Up to an additional foot of snow will fall in the mountains of West Virginia,the Poconos, the Catskills, and portions of northern New England throughSaturday. When all is said and done, a couple of spots could end up with closeto 3 feet of snow in northeastern Pennsylvania and areas west of New YorkCity.
New York City itself will have another 3-6 inches of snow with very lowvisibility at times. Boston, Philadelphia and Syracuse will all get anadditional 1-3 inches of snow.
