A southern storm will let loose torrents of rain across Texas Wednesday intoWednesday night. The southern coast of Texas could get as much as 3 or 4 inchesof rain.The sopping wet weather will spread eastward through the Gulf states Thursdayand Thursday night. Local flooding is likely to occur.
Later in the week, the storm is going to take all this moisture and thrust itnorthward into much colder air. The result will be a sizable snowstorm from theMidwest to the mid-Atlantic region.
