Guillaume Latendresse, who entered last night's game with a goal in three straight, has been sidelined indefinitely with a concussion, GM Chuck Fletcher said in an email this afternoon.
As of now, Fletcher said the Wild won't be calling anybody else up. The Wild will likely insert Warren Peters on the fourth line and move Nick Johnson, Cal Clutterbuck or Devin Setoguchi up to the first line.
Latendresse may have been concussed on a hit from Sharks defenseman Doug Murray.
The Wild is in the air right now. I'll talk to coach Mike Yeo later today and will have an update then.
But Latendresse will have to miss at least a week -- that's pretty much the rule for a concussion. However, as all Wild fans know and the Wild knows itself, concussions are an inexact science. No exact timetable is possible.
