Lakeville volleyball coach Mader retires

Mader, 72, made the decision last month, assistant coach Doug Bergman said.
Mader led Lakeville volleyball teams to six state championship matches, finally winning the Class 3A title last fall with Lakeville North. He reached victory No. 800 last season, becoming just the second coach in state history to accomplish that feat along with Hibbing's Gail Nucech.
