A motorcyclist veered off the interstate in Burnsville, struck a guardrail and was killed, authorities said Tuesday.
Lakeville man, 50, dies after motorcycle crash in Burnsville

The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. Monday on southbound Interstate 35W, just south of County Road 42, according to the State Patrol.
Killed was 50-year-old Melvin D. Schermann, of Lakeville, the patrol said. Schermann was not wearing a helmet.
