Lady Gaga's Xcel Center ticket info announced

As Lady Gaga continues to take heat for stealing her act from Madonna – including comments Madge herself made over the weekend -- at least there's one way the younger pop star can say she differs: ticket prices. Seats to Gaga's previously announced Feb. 6 concert at Xcel Energy Center go on sale Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. for $51.50, $87 and $177, which is only $2 more than what Gaga charged for her pair of sold-out shows at the St. Paul arena in 2010. Comparatively, Madonna's Nov. 3 and 4 gigs at the X top out at $172 and $357, with a limited number of $92 and $47 seats.

At a concert in Atlantic City on Saturday, Madonna dedicated her song "Masterpiece" to Gaga. Said the Material Girl, "You wanna know something? I love her. I love her. I do love her. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. But one day, very soon, we're going to be on stage together. Just you wait. You think I'm kidding? I love Lady Gaga."

Gaga's tour, dubbed the Born This Way Ball, won't just be an imitation of her previous Monsters Ball outing, according to its star. "[It's] an electrop-metal pop-opera," she says in the tour's press release, "the tale of the beginning, the genesis of the kingdom of fame." The tour is currently making its way through Europe following jaunts through Asia and Australia. The North American leg starts Jan. 11 in Vancouver. Most stops on the U.S. trek, including St. Paul, have open days before or after the announced concerts that save room for extra shows to be added. Gaga's cohorts Madeon and Lady Starlight are listed as "special guests."
