L.A. Nik loves Minneapolis so much he wrote a song about it

The downtown advocate has released a single about his favorite place on Earth.

L.A. Nik is good at two things: promoting himself and promoting downtown Minneapolis. The L.A. transplant has been talking up downtown to anyone who will listen since moving here a couple years ago. I profiled this character of characters in 2011 (we spent a crazy night on the town). Now, L.A. Nik has released a song dedicated to Minneapolis (more like a loud head-banging love letter). It's called "Friends in Minneapolis." The video itself is mostly a cluster of images presented in that low-rent Ken Burns style.

Watch it below and post your thoughts in the comment section.

(According to YouTube, the song is "co-written, composed and co-performed with Nick Rod; mixed and produced by Justin Schwartzbauer" of Toefist Productions).
