The Denver Nuggets played the Wolves on Monday night. On Monday morning, though, they eschewed the traditional gameday shootaround — something that they are thinking of making a permanent part of the plan.

Shootarounds (NBA) and morning skates (NHL) exist in part to keep players from staying out late the night before. But if they're going to do it anyway … well, coach Brian Shaw explains to the Denver Post: "When you have a young team, you know, guys like to go out as well. Am I torturing them by making them get up in the morning when they can be sleeping?"
