There's a report out of Rochester that lefthander Kris Johnson will be called up to make the start on Friday in Colorado Not surprised by the move. Johnson is on the 40-man roster and is pitching on the same schedule as Ricky Nolasco was when he landed on the DL. Plus Trevor May is still coming back from a calf injury.

Haven't heard who will be sent down to make room for Johnson. Stay tuned.

Just heard that righthander Tom Wilhelmsen will start tomorrow for Seattle. The Mariners don't want to waste King Felix on the Twins, so they are pushing him back a day for the big series against the A's this weekend. Seattle with go closer by committee against the Twins, Brandon Maurer will likely follow Wilhelmsen.

Should be busy down here tonight. The Seattle Sounders are playing at CenturyLink Field tonight at 7:30 and they will have more people there than here.

CORRECTION: The game was moved to Tukwila.
