Take a look at this snowfall map one more time. See that real dark blue areathat crosses extreme western Connecticut (18 inches plus)? That's very nearwhere I spent my first 20 years (Newtown). Mind you, my brother and sistersstill live in that area, and most certainly got to enjoy this whopper of asnowstorm.Me? I got to enjoy nothing (big sob). Here in central Pennsylvania, the stormdumped zilch. I don't even remember seeing a worthwhile snow flurry the wholetime.
However, don't be laughing about my snowfall prediction for the season. Yes, Isaid there would be 64 inches in my backyard. So far there has been 3.2 inches.
Not good!Travelers are looking at the big snow from a much different perspective. Theyhate it with a passion. I can related to that since there have been times thatI have been stranded in places I didn't want to be. But what are you going todo? Winter does stuff like this to people with no remorse.
So, when will the next big snowstorm hit the Eastern states? I see none comingat this time. As a matter of fact, it will turn noticeably milder in the Eastlater this week.
