Not to worry if you live on the East Coast. Hurricane Danielle is not comingyour way. The storm will turn toward the north long before it gets anywhereclose to the Eastern Seaboard. Furthermore, it could easily pass east ofBermuda.By the way, the storm that brings rain to New England tonight and Wednesday hasnothing to do with Danielle. It's simply a system that is forming on the coastwhich will pass just to the southeast of Cape Cod Wednesday afternoon.

The biggest threat posed by Danielle will be to Atlantic Canada. The easternend of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland could feel some effects from the stormtoward the middle of next week.
Right on the heels of Danielle, there is another large cloud mass that givesevery indication that it will become Tropical Storm Earl by the time you returnto Kocet's Corner. However, the configuration of air streams over the Atlanticmay not change much, which means this system could also easily head toward theNorth Atlantic without causing any harm to the United States.
So folks, sorry, no big hoopla to report today. Probably the biggest thinggoing is a cold front out across the Central part of the country that will slipoff the East Coast Thursday. Once that front passes, the entire Midwest andNortheast can expect a spell of dry weather that will last well into nextweek.
In the Northwest, it will be blazing hot Wednesday with 90s showing up to theCanadian border. That will change dramatically later this week. A strong coldfront will hit the area Thursday and Friday, when temperatures take aremarkable nosedive.
