Knight Foundation seeking young innovators

Emerging City Champions Fellowship accepting applications from young civic innovators in the 26 communities where Knight invests.

If you are between the ages of 19 and 35 and have ideas to strengthen urban mobility, improve public spaces and enhance civic engagement in St. Paul, the Knight Foundation wants to hear from you.

The Emerging City Champions Fellowship is accepting applications from "young civic innovators" in the 26 communities where Knight invests. That includes St. Paul and Duluth. The application deadline is April 15.

The $5,000 fellowship offers innovators the skills, knowledge and support they need to make immediate and lasting impact in their communities. It is open to anyone who meets the following criteria:

  1. Applicants must be between the ages of 19-35.
    1. The project must take place in or benefit one of the 26 communities where Knight invests.
      1. Projects must contribute to improved urban mobility or public space.
        1. Applications must include a multimedia submission that describes the project.
