Saw this on the Viking Update blog and it seems like a message that is worth getting out there.

Vikings punter Chris Kluwe and his band, Tripping Icarus, will play the main room at First Avenue on Friday night in downtown Minneapolis as part of a benefit concert for the family of Andy Lindberg, who served as the band's sound board operator and mixer.

Lindberg was killed in a car crash last month when he fell asleep at the wheel during a long drive back from Wisconsin. Lindberg's wife, Kimi Chaia-Lindberg, was injured in the accident and had to undergo surgery.

The money raised from the benefit -- tickets will cost $10 -- will help pay for medical costs and other expenses. There will be nine bands that play for about 30 minutes each and doors will open at 7 p.m.
