A killer remains at large in the shooting death of a 43-year-old man in rural southwestern Minnesota, authorities said Sunday.
Travis S. Svalland, of Windom, Minn., was found dead Wednesday at a home in the 46300 block of County Road 3, northwest of Windom, according to the Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in the investigation, Sheriff Jason Purrington said Sunday.
Citizens are being encouraged "to be vigilant, to continue with normal safety precautions and to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement," according to a statement from the Sheriff's Office.
