The day has finally come for Kieran Folliard and company. After announcing in January that he would begin selling his own brand of Irish whiskey, the gregarious pub owner unveils the product Wednesday evening.

It's called 2 Gingers, and Folliard plans to use it as the main ingredient in his pubs' popular Big Ginger cocktail. That means Jameson will be taking a back seat at the Local, Kieran's, Cooper and the Liffey. The Local has been the world's top seller of Jameson four years running.

Folliard is planning events at each of his pubs. This includes bagpipers, the official pouring and a free drink of 2 Gingers for each customer. Here's the schedule for tonight:

- The Local 5 p.m.
- Kieran's 5:30 p.m.
- Cooper 6 p.m.
- The Liffey 7 p.m.

More fun: Folliard competed in our St. Paddy's Day pub quiz with a couple other Irish pub owners. Watch the video here.
