STADIUM STATUS

The Senate approved plans to build a $1 billion Minnesota Vikings stadium at the Metrodome site.

Key provisions of the Senate bill include:

• User fees on suites, tickets, parking and licensed items sold at stadium

• Tax breaks for a Mall of America expansion

• Annual payments of $2.7 million to city of St. Paul for sports facilities

New pay plan

Revised construction cost breakdown for the roofed stadium as proposed by Senate:

Vikings: $452 million ($532 million in House plan)

State: $373 million ($293 million in House plan)

Minneapolis: $150 million

What's next: Bills go to conference committee to resolve differences, then to House and Senate for final votes. If passed, bill would go to Gov. Mark Dayton.
