Kevin Hart isn't about to relinquish his title as Hollywood's busiest celebrity anytime soon. The comedian and actor announced Monday that he'll be performing Aug. 26 at Target Center.
It's part of his Reality Check Tour that will open in Las Vegas in early July before hitting 30 arenas across North America. Tickets for the Minneapolis show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at kevinhartnation.com.
"There is nothing better than making people laugh," Hart said in a statement. "I can feel the energy in the venues like caffeine pumping through my veins. I've been cooking up something special and have thoughts I need to get off my chest."
During this year's Super Bowl, he popped up in both a short film paying tribute to Los Angeles and in a commercial for Sam's Club. Local musician Tom Scott, best known for performing with Greazy Meal, wrote and produced the score for that spot.
Hart has played the Minneapolis venue several times before. During Super Bowl week in Minneapolis in 2018, the Philadelphia native closed the show by apologizing for the way his Eagles treated Vikings fans in the NFC Championship Game.
Hart hasn't done a major stand-up tour in four years, but he's stayed busy with a slew of movies and TV shows, several of which show off his dramatic chops.
