Baseball historian John Thorn will be in conversation with writer and radio personality (and do I really need to explain who he is?) Garrison Keillor the evening of March 29 at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul.

Thorn is a historian and writer, and his new book, "Baseball in the Garden of Eden: The Secret History of the Early Game," will be published by Simon & Schuster on March 15. He was the chief consultant and historian for Ken Burns' PBS series, "Baseball," and his is also the author of "Total Baseball" and "The Hidden Game of Baseball."

Keillor is a Twins fan.

Tickets are available beginning at noon today through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com); at the Fitz box office, 10 E. Exchange St., St. Paul, between noon and 5 p.m., or at Keillor's bookstore, Common Good Books, 165 Western Ave. N., St. Paul.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020.
