Good morning, commuters!

Mainline roads are mainly wet, but motorists can expect some slick spots courtesy of a light dusting of snow that fell overnight.

Already the State Patrol has responded to a couple of spin outs, including on northbound Hwy. 61 around Lower Afton Road and on eastbound I-94 at Hwy. 101 in Rogers.

Secondary roads and neighborhood streets are snow and slush covered so use caution at intersections.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
