Good morning, commuters!

Metro Transit says the Northstar Commuter train 5:06 a.m. departure from Big Lake will use the outbound tracks between Elk River and Ramsey. So far, the train is running on time.

Shoreview drivers, here's a reminder that Hodgson Road closes today for 10 days as Ramsey County begins a repaving project between County Road J and South Birch Lane. The proscribed detour is to use Lexington Avenue.

For a second day, the ramp from eastbound Hwy. 212 to Shady Oak Road is closed as crews install a water main. The ramp should be open by Thursday's morning commute, according to MnDOT.

Road work does have the left lane blocked on northbound 494 at 394 and the right lane blocked at Rockford Road. That's it for problems on the roads at this hour.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
