Keeping tabs on Wednesday's morning commute

We can expect to see light levels of traffic for today's morning rush hour as many folks are off for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Good morning, commuters!

We start Thanksgiving-eve with a spinout on the ramp from northbound Hwy. 61 to Hwy. 36 in Maplewood. It's a cold one out there so there may be some slick spot, as witnessed by our spinout.

With some schools out today, we can expect lighter levels of traffic for the morning rush. We've seen that all week.

At the MSP Aiport, however, look for things to be jumping as many folks head away for the holiday.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
