Good morning, commuters!

After a rocky and wild night on the weather front, things have settled down and a nice day appears to be on tap. It is nice on the roads at this hour.

The overnight road work on eastbound 494 at France Avenue and westbound 494 at Lyndale Avenue is just about complete and lanes are opening.

No problems on northbound Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. Look for a traffic switch Wednesday night as motorists will be shifted to the southbound side.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
