Keeping tabs on Wednesday's morning commute

We begin today's rush hour with wet roads and murky conditions, so watch your speeds.

Good morning commuters!

We begin today's rush hour with wet roads and murky conditions, so watch your speeds.

MnDOT is wrapping up overnight road work on 494 in Bloomington. All lanes are now open on the westbound side at Penn Avenue. A lane is still blocked on the eastbound side at France Avenue, but look for that to lift soon.

Also look for a lane closure on southbound Hwy. 169 at Lancaster Lane in Brooklyn Park. Northbound 169 drops to a single lane from 77th Avenue to 109th Avenue N.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I could use your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
