Good morning, commuters!

A few road construction projects are all that will slow the drive at this early hour as Tuesday begins on a quiet note.

You'll find lane closures on northbound 494 at 394 in Minnetonka. In St. Michael, look for the left lane to be blocked in both directions on I-94 at Hwy. 241. Both closures should be gone before the rush gets in full gear.

Robbinsdale motorists, a reminder that County Road 9 remains closed east of Broadway and west of Hwy. 100 as clean up and repair of that broken watermain continues.

In Bloomington, the 12th Avenue bridge over I-494 will close today and remain closed until Oct. 10.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
