Keeping tabs on Tuesday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!

We start a new month today, and it will feel a lot more like June than October. Meteorologist Paul Douglas says lots of sun so we should not have any weather-related problems on the roads.

Right now about the only problem on the roads is a disabled vehicle in the left lane just outside the Lowry Hill Tunnel on eastbound 94.

Overnight tunnel cleaning is complete. Crews are in the process of cleaning up the barriers that have lanes blocked on westbound 494 at 24th Avenue and eastbound 35W at 494.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
