Good morning commuters!

We start today with a new road project that has the potential to bring big delays for drivers on Hwy. 169 through Hopkins and Edina. Currently southbound Hwy. 169 is reduced to a single lane between the Crosstown and Hwy. 7 for bridge repair. That configuration will be in place until July 15, and is expected to spread to the northbound lanes this week. For more on this project see MnDOT's construction page.

In Woodbury, look for the right two lanes to be closed on eastbound 94 at County 19.

Elsewhere, things are moving at the posted speeds at this hour.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
