Good morning, commuters!

Roads are dry and it appears they will stay that way as the predicted snow looks like it won't arrive until after the rush hour. That's good news after Monday when we saw the havoc the cold and snow together can bring.

Don't let your guard down, however. The mercury is below zero and black ice is possible. Bridge decks, ramps and roads that pass near bodies of water are most susceptible.

We have no issues at this hour as traffic levels are light.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
