Keeping tabs on Thursday's morning commute

Apparently the crew that is working on the noise wall on eastbound I-94 between Huron Blvd. and Hwy. 280 is getting an early start today. They are already hard at work, and consequently the right lane is closed. For now, that is not causing any traffic hassles, but by mid rush hour expect delays through Minneapolis.

Good morning, commuters!

Other than that, Thursday is getting off to a great start with no crashes on the system and roads that are in good winter driving condition.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
