Keeping tabs on Thursday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!

Nice travel conditions this morning, but it's likely to be a bit soggy this afternoon. Rain is expected to move in by mid-afternoon so the drive home could be slow.

For now, the only mishap on the road is a crash sitting on the right shoulder of southbound 35W at Hwy. 10.

Overnight road work has Hwy. 100 in both directions reduced to a single lane at 57th Avenue. That's also the exit to Bass Lake Road.

And northbound 494 at 394 has the left lane blocked.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
