Keeping tabs on Thursday's morning commute

Another day in summer paradise as far as the weather is concerned, and let's hope that translates to paradise on the roads.

Good morning, commuters!

Another day in summer paradise as far as the weather is concerned, and let's hope that translates to paradise on the roads.

We are off to a fine start with no crashes or delays for early birds.

The two execptions are overnight road work on northbound I-494 at Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove. And for the third day in a row, the right lane of eastbound 94 is out of commission at Huron Blvd.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
