Good morning, commuters!

MnDOT is still doing overnight road work on northbound Hwy. 100 between 77th Avenue and north of 66th Street in Edina. So plan on that single lane configuration to be in place until about 6 a.m.

The Stillwater Lift Bridge is open. Traffic was allowed to cross Thursday afternoon for the first time since June 23.

Other river crossings on Hwy. 41 and Hwy. 101 remain flooded out and off limits to traffic.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
