Keeping tabs on Thursday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!

Another rush hour is underway and it starts with roads that are in decent shape and low traffic volumes. It was warm enough yesterday that we had some snow melt, and cold enough over night to leave refreeze. So watch out for icy patches on the roads, and especially on sidewalks.

We are accident free at the moment.

So far so good on the Northstar line. The first inbound trip is running on time.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
