Keeping tabs on Thursday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!

Black ice on Monday and Tuesday. Snow today. This week's morning commutes have been a doozey for sure.

Roads are in fair condition at best this morning. Most are snow covered and getting slippery. Keep the speeds down and give the plows room to work.

Currently we have a vehicle that slid off the ramp from northbound 494 to westbound 394 in Minnetonka.

Metro Transit is not reporting any delays at this hour. Northstar Trains are running on time.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
