Keeping tabs on Thursday's morning commute

Already we have trouble on the roads, and it comes in the form of rollover crash on southbound Hwy. 169 at Minnetonka Blvd. The right lane is blocked, but the ramp to Minnetonka Blvd. is open. Just ahead, look for the left lane to be blocked approaching Hwy. 7.

Good morning, commuters!

Elsewhere, I'll be watching northbound I-35 to see if any delays develop. The work zone has the freeway down to a single lane in each direction from County Road 2 up to County Road 50.

Overnight road work still has two lanes blocked on eastbound 494 at Lyndale Avenue, but that should lift sooon. Crews just finished working at westbound 494 at Cedar Avenue, so all lanes are open there.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
